Section XII · Correspondence Established 1962

A direct line to the partners.

Every enquiry on this page is read, within one business day, by the senior partner responsible for the relevant practice. There is no intake desk between you and counsel — no marketing follow-up, no sequence, no record shared outside the matter team you appoint.

The 30-minute consultation is a private conversation, held under professional privilege, in your office or ours — Brussels, Antwerp, Luxembourg or Frankfurt.

Direct Lines

A direct line to the partner who will read your enquiry first — by practice.

Every matter at the firm is led by a named partner with an average tenure of 18.4 years. To shorten the path between your first letter and the right conversation, write to the partner below whose practice matches the question at hand. If you are uncertain, address the Brussels switchboard and we will route you.

The Consultation Letter

Write to a partner.

A brief letter is all we need to confirm your consultation. The fields below mirror the kind of opening letter you would address to senior counsel — name, role, the matter in a sentence, and the partner you would prefer to speak with. We reply, under privilege, within one business day.

  • Treated as confidential correspondence from first receipt.
  • No marketing follow-up; no addition to a newsletter list.
  • Read only by the partner you name — and the matter partner covering absences.

Procedure

What happens after you write to us.

  1. Acknowledgement — within one business day.

The named partner — or, in their absence, the covering matter partner — acknowledges receipt in writing. You will not be passed to an intake team.

  2. Conflict check — before the first conversation.

We run the conflict and independence review against our 47-partner, 128-lawyer bench and, where relevant, against the 41 firms of the European Mid-Market Counsel Alliance. Any conflict is disclosed to you before the call.

  3. Partner call — within five business days.

A 30-minute private consultation, in French or English, held in your office, at our Brussels headquarters or by encrypted line. No slides, no pitch deck — a working conversation about your matter.

A Final Word

Begin the conversation
with a senior partner.

The first move is a private letter. We will handle the rest with the discretion the matter deserves.

Counsel for the bold — since 1962.
